Æterisk portrays a dream like world and those stuck inside it. Æterisk is not the journey of the player’s individual limbo-esque world, and the aim is not his own salvation. It is the main character’s exploration and the transformation of this world that reflects heavily upon himself. The idea of the player going to limbo-esque world and inadvertently deciding the fate of the other beings is the driving force and aim behind Æterisk. This world is not a place of his own creation and they are not the only inhabitance of this vast expanse.
